The Mountain Offroad Steering Brace for Jeep CJ (1976-86) adds a cross-frame support with an integrated bearing to stabilize the sector shaft, reduce steering play, and extend steering box life.
No drilling or mods are required (for most applications). This brace ties your power steering box to the passenger frame rail to prevent it from being torn off due to added stress from larger tires or a front locker. This brace is inexpensive insurance against costly damage on the trail.
